Depeche Mode Rocks Colbert
Depeche Mode are getting ready to release their first album since the death of bandmate Andy Fletcher, and last night Dave Gahan and Martin Gore took the stage on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The band performed the lead single from Momento Mori (due out March 24) called “Ghosts Again,” and it sounds as good live as it does on the recording.

Dave Gahan turns 61 in a few months, and his moves and voice are sexy as ever. Fortunately it wasn’t one–and-done for their appearance on Colbert, as the band dipped into the catalog for a gem off of Violator, “Personal Jesus,” which opens more starkly than the original.

Depeche Mode will be at Madison Square Garden April 14, and they recently added more dates for the fall including Barclays Center in Brooklyn October 21 and back at MSG October 28.
