There is nothing better than celebrating the 4th of July In New Jersey — one of the proudest parts of America! Attached is a growing list of Independence Day celebrations across the Garden State, starting in late June, and going as far as July 6th.

Celebrate The 4th of July in New Jersey With The List Below!

  • July 3rd- Lakehurst

    Lake Horicon after Lakehurst 100th anniversary celebration, which runs 2 to 9 p.m. with music, food trucks, a beer garden and more. Rain date is July 9. Go: 732-657-4141or lakehurst-nj.gov.

  • July 3rd - Lavallette

    Fireworks begin at dusk. Centennial Gardens Gazebo, Bay Boulevard at Philadelphia Avenue. Rain date is July 10. 732-793-7477; lavallette.org.

  • July 3rd - Union Beach

    Celebrate the 4th Of July at Union Beach at the beachfront. Fireworks begin when it gets dark.  *RAIN DATE JULY 5th*

  • July 3rd - Freehold

    From 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., everyone gathers at the Freehold Raceway to enjoy the fireworks show! Lawn chairs are RECOMMENDED! 

  • July 3rd - Asbury Park

    The annual Asbury Park Independence Day celebration! View the fireworks from the Second and Fourth Avenue beaches starting at 9:00 p.m. *RAIN DATE JULY 5th*

  • July 3rd - Keansburg

    Celebrate the birth of our nation at Keansburg Amusement Park & Runaway Rapids’ “BIGGEST show ever”! Spend the day at the park and cap it off with a beautiful fireworks display. *FREE ENTRY*

  • July 3rd - Woodbridge

    This fireworks display will be at Alvin P. Williams Park! Gates open at 4:00 p.m., and there will be live music, vendors, food trucks, and more. Be sure to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

  • July 4th - East Brunswick

    East Brunswick’s 4th Of July celebration is going to be held at the Community Arts Center on Cranbury Road. There will be children’s games, food vendors, and an appearance from the East Brunswick Symphony Orchestra! Parking for the event will be available at the arts center using the entrance/exit ramp roadside.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m.. More parking information can be found here.

  • July 4th - Long Branch

    OCEANFEST“The Biggest Independence Day celebration anywhere in New Jersey”!  The event starts at 1:00 p.m. and goes all the way to 10:00 p.m. Firworks are expected to go off at 9:00 p.m.

  • July 4th - Beach Haven

    Fireworks begin at dusk. Bay Village, Taylor Avenue, Beach Haven. Rain date is July 5. 609-492-2800; bayvillagelbi.com.

  • July 4th - Milltown

    Another large-scale 4th of July celebration, this event kicks off at 6:00 IN THE MORNING. Fishing, fun runs, food, parades, beer gardens, and so much more are happening here. Fire works are expected to launch at 9:30 p.m.  For more information on the day’s festivities, click HERE

  • July 4th - Beachwood

    Toms River/ Ocean Gate/Pine Beach/South Toms River area from the river. July 4th @Dusk. Beach on Bayside Avenue. Food, vendors, music, activities. Go to beachwoodusa.com.

  • July 4th - Point Pleasant Beach

    Fireworks begin at dusk. Also every Thursday through Sept. 1, Jenkinson’s beach. Go: 732-892-0600 or jenkinsons.com.

  • July 5th - Atlantic Highlands

    Atlantic Highlands will be having its fireworks display at the Marina, starting at 9:45 p.m. Perfect night for watching from the boat.

  • July 5th - Lacey Township

    Fireworks begin at 9:15pm. Lacey High School, 73 Haines St. in the Lanoka Habor section. Live music by Shallow Green begins at 7:30. Rain date is July 6. Go: 609-693-1100, ext. 2203; laceytownship.org.

  • July 6th - Belmar

    Starting promptly at 8:30 p.m., this can’t miss fireworks display is best observed from the grass in fron of Silver Lake on Ocean Avenue. IT CANNOT BE SEEN FROM THE BEACH
