Cyndi Lauper Still Leads Rock Hall Fan Vote
She’s so unusual, and she’s leading the pack of nominees for the Rock & Roll hall of Fame class of 2023 in the Fan Vote. Three weeks after the nominations were announced and voting opened, Cyndi retains the top spot with over 246,000 votes.
George Michael is just behind with some 242,000 votes, followed by Warren Zevon (215,000), Soundgarden (163,000), and Iron Maiden (162,000) rounding out the Top 5.

Warren Zevon in third may be is a bit of a surprise so far, but Billy Joel has been leading the public charge to get the Excitable Boy his rightful place in the Rock Hall, as well as advocating for Cyndi Lauper.
Congrats to the #RockHall2023 nominees! Billy previously wrote letters to the nominating committee in support of Warren Zevon and Cyndi Lauper who are both among the nominees this year.
