First Look at New Jersey’s Sea Life Aquarium
SEA LIFE aquarium is set to open their doors at the all new American Dream property this spring. The 25,000 square-foot East Rutherford, New Jersey location will be the first in the Northeast and the tenth in the United States.
Earlier this week, SEA LIFE Aquarium began to fill their tanks with nearly 250,000 gallons of water. The aquarium will feature twelve different exhibits with diverse tanks which will support more than 3,000 salt, fresh and warm water creatures.
“The water fill is an exciting milestone for us because it takes us one step closer to opening day and gives a sneak peek into this one-of-a-kind SEA LIFE location with its ‘City Under the Sea’ theming,” said Camille DePascale, General Manager of New Jersey SEA LIFE Aquarium. “We can’t wait to entertain and educate our guests about the ocean, its inhabitants and future preservation.”
The grand ocean tank with the ‘City Under the Sea’ theming will feature a 13-foot-tall replica of the Empire ‘Skate’ Building, the famous Manhattan hotel, among other replicas. SEA LIFE Aquarium is set to officially open their doors on April 23, 2020.
