What Did TJ Bryan Watch On YouTube Yesterday? (9/12/22)
With Better Call Saul wrapped up and the show up for multiple Emmys tonight, including Best Drama and Best Actor in a Drama for star Bob Odenkirk, I decided to dip back into one of the greatest sketch comedy shows of all time, Mr. Show with Bob and David, starring Odenkirk and David Cross.
Mr. Show ran for four seasons on HBO, and it was a twisted delight to come out of the ’90s Alt-Comedy scene. The links between sketches and call-backs were reminiscent of Monty Python, and some of the sketches and jokes were incredibly layered. Please enjoy this series of “commercials” pitting mega-grocery conglomerate Fairlsey Foods against Gibbons Market, the old-timey good place!
