Asbury Park Distilling Co. Offering Hand Sanitizer To First Responders
Asbury Park Distilling Co. has halted production for their famous bourbon, gin, vodka, among other spirits to help their community amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
The distillery located at 527 Lake Avenue in Asbury Park, New Jersey is now supplying hand sanitizer for those in need.
Asbury Park Distilling Co. encourages current retailers and restaurants who have remained open to visit the tasting room to pick up an allotment. In addition, the 2-ounce bottles of the hand cleaner will be offered for free to first responders.
Rob Wile of Asbury Park Distilling expressed to News 12 New Jersey in a recent interview that they saw an opportunity to help for humanitarian reasons. The first batch was very beneficial for Monmouth County and they plan to continue production as they adjust to new Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines.
Asbury Park Distilling Co. now has bigger corporations looking to them for assistance as well. The hand sanitizer is a priority for the distillery and will continue to be done out of the goodness of their hearts.
