EA Sports Leaks New Gotham FC Home Shirt And It Is FIRE!

Monday morning the good folks at EA Sports announced that they would be adding the National Women's Soccer League and international women's teams to FIFA 23 as of March 15, and hidden inside the historic announcement was a screen shot that showcased a new home kit for Gotham FC before the club even had a chance to present it themselves. Frankly, it's shocking the kit did not leak earlier as it is FIRE!

If you've ever wanted to score bangers with Midge Purce, Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, or Trinity Rodman, you'll finally have the chance beginning next week. According to the press release from EA Sports, "Starting March 15 across all platforms, all 12 NWSL teams will be present within Kick Off, Tournament Mode, Head to Head season / Co-op Seasons and Online Friendlies. Also available in EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 will be four NWSL stadiums, along with authentic kits, starheads, trophies and celebrations."

Shortly after EA Sports made their announcement, Gotham FC followed up with the proper unveiling of the sharp new kit at the club's pre-season media day. If this is not near the top of the list for jersey sales this season there is no justice.

In other Gotham FC news the club announced that Margaret "Midge" Purce has signed a contract extension through 2024 with a mutual option for 2025, keeping the striker plying her trade at Red Bull Arena for the near future.

Gotham's new kit is on sale now, as are tickets for the upcoming season and the home opener on April 1 versus Megan Rapinoe and OL Reign.
