Egg Harbor Twp Eagles Continue To Soar, Win First Sectional Title
It has been a heck of a season for Egg Harbor Township High School as the third-seeded Eagles won their first sectional title, topping #1 seed Lenape 41-36. Jersey Sports Zone was in Medford last night when EHT got revenge against an Indians team that knocked them out of the Group 4 South semifinals last season, and they have all the HD highlights.
Big congrats to the Eagles, including DJ Germann who led the Eagles (27-5) with 15 points and Jay-Nelly Reyes who was just one shy of that amrk. The defending champs put up a battle, with Lenape’s Tye Dorset scoring a game-high 16 points as the Indians fell short. Next up for EHT is a date with Central champion Trenton in the Group 4 state semifinals Thursday evening.
