What Did TJ Bryan Watch On YouTube Yesterday? Amtrak Sleeper Train Trip Report!
Living where we do, we tend to consider trains as being a form of transportation reserved for commuting rather than extended travel. This is a shame, really, as train travel can be a wonderful, relaxing way to get to far flung destinations.
I’ve traveled by train in Europe and the UK, and I have to say it is infinitely better and easier there. However, much of that has to do with geography. The United States is so big, and rail travel just hasn’t seen the kind of high-speed evolution here that is commonplace abroad. That being said, there are ample opportunities to see America by train, and English travel YouTuber Paul Lucas just posted his experience taking a 19 hour journey from New Orleans to Chicago.
On his channel, Paul does a terrific job chronicling his travels by air and by rail all over the world. His presentation and attention to detail are wonderful, and his knowledge about aircraft, trains, airports, and travel in general is top-notch.
Check out Paul’s New Orleans to Chicago journey, and be sure to watch his other videos.
