Federico’s Pizza & Restaurant Owner Took Out 50K Credit Line To Pay Employees
Bryan Morin, the owner of Federico’s Pizza & Restaurant, has taken out a $50,000 line of credit from the bank amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Federico’s located on Main Street in Belmar, New Jersey has made a promise to their 20 employees on the payroll. Morin will continue to give each worker a paycheck over the next two months no matter what the the status of the business is.
Due to the spread of COVID-19 in the state, Governor Phil Murphy ordered that all restaurants must close their dining rooms. Although they can still remain open for take-out and delivery, Federico’s among many other establishments will take a decline in business.
“My father told us a long time ago: You’ve got to take care of your employees first, because without those employees, you don’t have a business at all,” Morin told NJ.com.
Federico’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for takeout and delivery only with their full menu being offered at this time. Call 732-681-6936 or order online today at federicospizza.com.
