Jersey Shore Nightclubs up for Auction
Two of the Jersey Shore’s most famous bars are now up for auction. While both are located in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, Karma closed its doors during the spring of 2018 and The Bamboo Bar in fall of 2019.
The night clubs’ owner, Saddy Family LLC, filed for bankruptcy in February of 2019. According to NJ.com, if you’re interested in becoming the new owner, you can start placing bids for at least $1.2 million next month.
NJ.com reported that Seaside’s borough council voted for the second straight year to reject Karma’s request for a liquor licence just last summer. This came after several underage drinking arrests were made at the club.
Karma and The Bamboo Bar have always been under the spotlight and gained media attention with the filming of MTV’s Jersey Shore in recent years. The auction will occur at The Bamboo Bar at 1 p.m. on March 26.
