Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee Flavor Set for Release in 2020
The cold brew coffee trend is now invading liquor brands in the form of a new Jägermeister flavor.
Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee, a caffeinated version of the iconic German digestif, was just announced for release in January 2020. Per Delish, the specs of the liquor include:
-33 percent ABV
-made with Arabica coffee and cacao, in addition to Jäger’s classic 56 “herbs, blossoms, roots, and fruits”
-contains 10 percent of the caffeine in a cup of coffee per shot
-Cost for 750ml bottle will be $24.99, while a 1 liter bottle will cost $32.99
So, why diversify into the cold brew game? Jägermeister’s Chief Marketing Officer Chris Peddy told Food & Wine, “We wanted to recruit a new generation of drinkers, and in order to do so, we knew we had to create the perfect liqueur to be enjoyed across numerous occasions. Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee presents consumers with a premium product that will embrace the unexpected and defy expectations.”
In other words: Perhaps a boozy brunch just got more interesting.
