Steven Adler Stabbing Was An Accident, Not Suicide Attempt
CLEVELAND, OH - APRIL 14: Inductee Steven Adler of Guns N' Roses performs on stage during the 27th Annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony at Public Hall on April 14, 2012 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Steven Adler, through his rep, has cleared up concerns about the news he was rushed to the hospital because of a self-inflicted stab wound.
Adler’s rep issued a statement through TMZ that reads that clarifies that “the stabbing was not a suicide attempt, and simply an accident.” The wound itself was described as “very minor” and “superficial.” Adler’s rep made mention that he has a show in Las Vegas on July 12 that is going on as scheduled.
TMZ broke the news and reported that someone called 911 from Adler’s home around 6:30 PM yesterday (June 27) saying someone had stabbed themselves. Adler was then admitted to a local hospital for “non-life threatening” injuries.
