There have been all sorts of buzz about whether the newly reunited Guns N’ Roses will record new music, but a new rumor making the rounds has the band contributing to a high-profile T.Rex tribute album.
Guns N’ Roses’ “Not In This Lifetime” tour has gone off night after night without a hitch, with a notable exception taking place last weekend when the band cut their set short in Abu Dhabi due to Axl Rose battling illness.
Axl Rose and his severe tardiness have been a punchline for years, especially in the lead-up to Guns N’ Roses’ latest tour, but you have to give the singer props for delivering even a shortened set at the band’s show in Abu Dhabi.
Slash is currently on his solo tour with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators in support of their new album Living The Dream, but they managed to work in one Guns N’ Roses classic into the setlist during their tour stop in Hollywood this week and were joined by a very special guest.
Not sure how Guns N’ Roses feels about people speculating about the potential of a new album now that Slash and Duff McKagan are back in the fold, but if they wanted to throw people off of any scent, perhaps comments like this should be kept under wraps.
This time next week, the highly-anticipated reissue of Guns N’ Roses’ iconic debut album Appetite For Destruction will be out, but before then, fans are getting another tease of some of the album’s bonus tracks.
