Jackson Browne Headlines Star-Studded Tibet House Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall 2025
The 38th annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert will take place at Carnegie Hall on March 3, 2025.
Proceeds from the event will fund Tibet House US, a nonprofit founded by the Dalai Lama in 1987 to preserve Tibet’s endangered cultural heritage.
Since the 1980s these concerts have attracted the biggest names in the music industry. Icons like David Bowie graced the stage alongside legends such as Carly Simon, Eddie Vedder, Lou Reed, Joan Baez, and Annie Lennox.
This year, Jackson Browne will headline the event. He will be joined by a powerhouse lineup that includes rock legend Michael Stipe, punk icon Patti Smith, country singer Orville Peck, and roots artist Allison Russell. Rising star Ebon Moss-Bachrach from The Bear and the lively punk band Gogol Bordello round out the roster.
The events have also faced their fair share of controversy. One notable incident occurred when Keanu Reeves made an appearance at the 35th virtual concert. After the show, the Chinese streaming services removed his movies in response to nationalist backlash. However, this did not deter other musicians or the Tibet House US from promoting the Tibetan heritage.
Tickets are now on sale on Carnegie Hall’s website from $49, with premium seats running up to $220.
