Honeygrow Fast Casual Restaurant Coming To Toms River
Honeygrow, the stir fry, salad, and honey bar fast-casual restaurant is headed to the Ocean County Mall in Toms River!
The chain, which was founded in 2012 already has locations in New Brunswick and Hoboken. So needless to say, this is exciting news for foodies of the Jersey Shore.
The menu begins with stir fry…
Interestingly, many of the items on the stir-fry menu are concoctions from all over the culinary landscape. From Asian Sweet Soy Five Spice stir fry to the Maryland-inspired Chesapeake Crab stir fry. Also, stir-fry options include Spicy Garlic, Garlic Butter Shrimp, and Red Coconut Curry.
There is even a Build Your Own stir fry option, where you choose your base, protein, veggie, and sauces. Meanwhile, the calorie count for the menu stir fry bowls ranges between 362 and 746 calories, so they seem to be a light lunch option in the high-calorie dining landscape at the Mall.
Furthermore, guests may choose from the Lifestyle menu. Including paleo, keto, vegan, high protein, or Whole 30 standardized dishes. Here is the Stir Fry menu page from the Honeygrow website.
Salads, salads, and more salads…
Meanwhile, with a lot of salad competition in town, it will be interesting to see if Honeygrow can grab a piece of the lettuce in this beloved lunch choice. There do seem to be some off-the-beaten-path choices on the Honeygrow salad menu. Kale Chicken Caesar jumps out at me. Doing a classic Caesar salad with kale is intriguing.
Another is the Greek Out salad, with olives and banana peppers. However, there are also some everyday favorites offered, like Cobb, and a build-your-own option as well. Here is the full list of salads from Honeygrow.
What the heck’s a Honey Bar???
This is going to be the first thing my 22-year-old daughter gets the first time she visits this place, I know it. This is the Gen Z go-to these days, as seen in the popularity of places like Playa Bowls.
The Honeygrow Honey Bar gives you different fruit, dessert, or granola combos to enjoy, all with a drizzle of their signature local honey. Moreover, Buckwheat, Wildflower, and Clover are just some of the honey offered at the Honey Bar. Of course, you can always build your own.
