Ocean County will open a drive-thru COVID-19 testing site at Ocean County College on Monday (March 30) for Ocean County residents ONLY as announced Thursday.
There are prerequisites to being tested:
-You MUST pre-register. No tests will be administered for drive-ups. You can pre-register by clicking here.
-You MUST have a doctor’s prescription,
-You MUST provide proof of residency in Ocean County.
Tests will be administered between 9am-3pm daily until testing supplies are exhausted, weather permitting. Residents should enter the site from the college’s Hooper Avenue entrance.
Ocean County Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy is overseeing the testing site. “I encourage everyone to follow the requirement to have a doctor’s prescription for the test, to register for the test and to have proper identification once you come to the site. If you haven’t registered and if you don’t have a doctor’s prescription we cannot provide you with a test. I cannot stress this enough,” he said.
