New Jersey: This Restaurant Has The Best Nachos In The State

There are so many occasions applicable to eating a big serving of nachos. A ballgame, as an appetizer or simply just because. Eat This, Not That recently published the best nachos in every state, and a chain restaurant was recognized in New Jersey.

“Thanks to the versatility of nacho-making, restaurants can make excellent use of their local specialties to create unique, unforgettable nacho dishes,” the article explains, regarding their methodology. Nachos are tasty enough that they can be simplified into a basic chips and cheese comfort food. Certain establishments choose to load them up with guacamole, salsa, meats, and local flavors. There are plenty of ways that establishments find to get creative with nachos.

In Eat This, Not That’s feature they explain how they featured different nacho variations that often include a food that was native to the state. In New Jersey however, these award-winning nachos come from a restaurant that has eight locations across the state.

Tacoria

At Tacoria, the nachos are at the top of the “Step 1” section on the menu. The article explains them in detail by saying, “The Viva La Nachos are made from hand-cut tortillas, black beans, salsa, cheese, crema, escabeche peppers, and your choice of protein (carne asada is a popular choice).”

In addition, at Tacoria, you can have nachos before dinner or after. Their Nutella nachos are the only dessert option. They are tortilla chips mixed with sugar, cinnamon, and Nutella. Their kids menu contains a classic version of nachos as well. In addition, the menu offers guests the option to build their own tacos.

The Nachos

Tacoria pride themselves on only using fresh ingredients. In fact, they use only hand-cut tortilla chips. These are made in-house, too. They allow you to customize your nachos. You have the choice to add three different meats. Next, you can top it all off with freshly prepared guacamole.

Each order is available in a “pie” size (served in a tin pie dish), or you can get a full order of the best nachos in New Jersey for $16.

4 New Jersey Cities Make Best Party Cities in the US List

New Jersey knows how to get down. According to Bonus Finder, four New Jersey cities have been ranked as some of the “best party cities in the United States.”

The casino review site compiled the list of United States cities based on several attributes the city had to have. Bonus Finder looked at the following criteria:

  • Music Events
  • Bars
  • Nightclubs
  • Late Night Food Venues
  • Hotels
  • Casinos
  • Stripclubs

The site even had your pockets in mind when determining where is the best place to go for a great night out. Below are some factors that Bonus Finder considered in their ranking:

  • Average Price of a Drink
  • Average Price of a Hotel Room
  • Average Taxi Cost from the Airport to the City Center

Lastly, (and maybe most importantly, depending on who you ask), the site also considered which clubs and events had the latest “last call at the bar.”

The site reviewed “the number of bars, hotels, nightclubs, casinos, stripclubs, and late night food venues were calculated per 10,000 people. Each city has a normalized score out of 10 on each of the factors, before taking an average total normalized score across each of these scores to reach our final overall score out of 10.”
