These restaurants in Monmouth & Ocean Counties are serving Breakfast, Brunch or Dinner on Easter Sunday.
That is a lifesaver when you don’t either have time to cook or don’t feel like cooking for a massive gathering. For me, 12 or more is too much.
I normally like to cook for a crowd depending on the occasion. There are times when my schedule is so overloaded that I get overwhelmed.
In times like these, I look for alternatives. I could cater for the gathering, or I could make reservations.
It’s so much easier to pick up the phone and say, “I’d like to make a reservation for 12, please.
Which Restaurants Are Open In Monmouth & Ocean On Easter?
There are more than a handful of restaurants serving either breakfast, brunch, or dinner. Personally, I prefer brunch.
My mother would always make sure that wherever we decided to go, they must serve rare prime rib, her favorite.
She likes her red meat walking off the plate. Me, not so much.
Some of the places on the list have carving stations. More than likely these places will have prime rib. They will also have my favorite, roasted turkey breast with gravy.
If you’re planning on heading for a brunch buffet, most people go for the omelette station. Omelette stations are awesome because the food is cooked to order. You get to choose from a variety of meats, cheeses, and vegetables to add to your omelette.
My personal favorite item at the brunch buffet is the platter of smoked salmon. Along with the smoked salmon, you’ll have bagels, a variety of cream cheese options, butter, veggies, like thinly sliced red onion, capers, scallions, and the list goes on.
Give me a bagel and lox with the works and I’m a happy girl. Oftentimes, these brunches have a complimentary glass of Champagne or a Bloody Mary.
