Tammy Murphy Talks New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund With TJ Bryan In The Morning
The First Lady of New Jersey, Tammy Murphy, recently launched the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund (NJPRF). It was created to assist the many needs that are emerging across our state due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tammy along with her husband, Governor Phil Murphy, have been working around the clock in order to support the relief fund efforts. She opened up to TJ Bryan in The Morning live on WJRZ to discuss her journey thus far among other things.
“The fund is something I pulled together about four weeks ago now,” Tammy Murphy told WJRZ. “We created it really to fill in the gaps between government and other funding sources that are already on the ground to make sure those people who are most impacted by COVID-19 around our state are really helped as much as we can help them.”
In addition, the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund presents ‘Jersey 4 Jersey,’ a one-night broadcast fundraiser being held tonight (April 22) featuring Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, and more. Tune-in to 100.1 WJRZ as we broadcast the show starting at 7 p.m. ET.
