Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” Earns Another Major Honor
The Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has done wonders for the Queen catalog, as if it really needed much help.
Per Universal Music Group, Queen’s epic track “Bohemian Rhapsody” has now passed 1.6 billion streams making it the world’s most-streamed song from the 20th Century and the most-streamed classic rock song ever.
In a statement, Brian May said, “So the River of Rock Music has metamorphosed into streams! Very happy that our music is still flowing to the max,” which is exactly the type of statement one would expect from an iconic guitarist that also has a doctorate in astrophysics.
Of course, fans will be able to catch “Bohemian Rhapsody” and other Queen classics in the summer of 2019 when the band, along with Adam Lambert, hit the road in North America. A full list of tour dates and complete ticket information can be found at QueenOnline.com.
