A Debate on Bob Dylan Got So Intense on Twitter It Began to Trend
Bob Dylan began trending on Twitter today and got as high as the number two trend in the United States, but the reason why it happened was rather surprising.
An account called Classic Rock In Pics shared a screenshot of Rolling Stone‘s list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time, and many took issue with the list because of Dylan’s number seven ranking. Keep in mind that this list was originally published in 2008 proving that sometimes when you resurface old stuff, people tend to react wildly.

What were the reactions like? Some reactions were hilarious…
Bob Dylan is trending because a content-farming account screenshotted Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Singers from *2008*, thereby sparking an angry debate about how high Dylan is ranked. Very cool

Bob Dylan is trending, and I got nervous worrying that he might have, you know, won another Nobel Prize.

“Karen Carpenter belongs 90 spots below Bob Dylan on a list of greatest singers” is like a note the Zodiac Killer sends to an LGBT center. pic.twitter.com/rgW7QDIy1g

However, the best reaction came from the comments of the original tweet, which noticed something very weird about that screengrab.
my thoughts are "holy hell they censored Joe Cocker's name"
