Van Halen’s “Jump”: Studio Cut of Armin van Buuren Remix Now Available
Remember when David Lee Roth made a surprise appearance at the Ultra Music Festival during Armin van Buuren‘s set and the DJ did a remix of Van Halen’s “Jump”? Since we now live in a “Nobody asked for this!” kind of world, a studio version of the remix is now available.
In case you don’t remember Diamond Dave “performing” at the electronic music festival, here’s the original video to jog your memory.
As expected, many fans weren’t exactly thrilled about this remix when it was done live, so they let the studio version have it in the comment section on YouTube. Here are just a few notable comments:
-“If there was a way to represent ebola through the medium of music, this would be it.”
-“Glad this got posted to YouTube after it got performed at UMF so I could finally downvote the hell out of it.”
-“I love you Armin…..but no.”
-“Come on we already had one person ruin Van Halen! Haggar…. why not another asshat? Come on Roth, what were you thinking?”
If you do, by chance, like the remix, you can listen to it below or stream it from here.
