VIDEO: Patti Smith Joined By Springsteen, Stipe For Doc Premiere Set
Patti Smith‘s Horses: Patti Smith and Her Band premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last night (April 23), and after the screening, Smith performed a mini-set and was joined by a couple of notable friends.
Bruce Springsteen first joined Smith on stage where they performed “Because The Night,” which was written by The Boss and recorded by Smith for her 1978 album Easter.
Smith and Springsteen were they joined by Michael Stipe and Smith’s daughter, Jesse, for a rousing rendition of “People Have The Power.”
Horses: Patti Smith and Her Band will be available exclusively on Apple Music beginning May 22.
