Missing Teen Found In Mexico With Friend’s Father
A missing 16 year-old teen from Pennsylvania has been found and is safely back home to her family.
According to Complex, the teen, Amy Yu, was found this past Saturday in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico with a friend of her’s father, Kevin Esterly. Esterly is a 45 year-old father of four with his wife, Stacy Esterly.
Yu was found after Mexico’s Attorney General issued an Amber Alert for the two. Yu was found in good health.
Apparently, Yu was involved in a secret relationship with Esterly after the police told him to stay away from her. He signed the teen out of school ten times in a single month.
According to The Morning Call, Esterly and his wife regularly fought about his relationship with Yu, but now Stacy is, “glad that Amy is safe and that Kevin is with authorities.”
When Esterly returns to Pennsylvania, he will face a child custody interference charge.
