It was another packed show on New Wave Rewind this weekend, including info on the North To Shore Festival featuring The B-52’s and more! Here’s everything that you heard (or missed):

• Duran Duran - Is There Something I Should Know?

• The Smithereens - Drown in My Own Tears

  The North to Shore Festival is going to be three weekends of music, art, comedy, and technology in venues across Newark, Asbury Park, and Atlantic City areas. New Jersey Hall of Famers The Smithereens will be at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park on June 16 with Marshall Crenshaw on vocals.

• The B-52's - Private Idaho

  When The B-52’s played Atlantic City last fall that was supposed to be it for the band’s touring days. Well, strike that because The B-52’s will be at the Stone Pony Summerstage for the North to Shore festival on June 17.

   

• Aimee Mann - I Should've Known

  Aimee Mann will be part of the North to Shore festival as she opens for Alanis Morissette at the Prudential Center in Newark June 22.

• 10,000 Maniacs - Hey Jack Kerouac

  Natalie Merchant will be releasing a new album next month, and she’ll be wrapping up the North to Shore festival at the New Jersey Performance Arts Center in Newark on June 25.

  Happy 63rd birthday to U2 bassist Adam Clayton!

   

• Husker Du - Makes No Sense at All

  Happy 62nd to Husker Du’s Grant Hart!

   

• Culture Club - It's a Miracle

   

• Level 42 - Running in the Family

   

• Richard Barone - River to River

  A great one from the former front man for The Bongos.

   

   

• The Call - Let the Day Begin

   

• Joe Jackon - You Can't Get What You Want (Till You Know What You Want)

   

• The Go-Go's Lust to Love

  Gina Schock of The Go-Go’s will be at the Stone Pony on April 22.

   

   

• Romeo Void - Never Say Never

   

• The Church - The Unguarded Moment

  The Church return to Asbury Park with a show at Asbury Lanes April 2.

   

• The Ocean Blue - Drifting, Falling

   

• UNDERCOVER: The Stranglers - Walk on By

  Written by Burt Bacharach and originally a hit for Dionne Warwick, The Stranglers managed to double the length of this tune.

   

• HISTORY NEVER REPEATS: Generation X - One Hundred Punks

  The debut album from Generation X was released this week in 1978!

   

• HISTORY NEVER REPEATS: Robert Palmer - Every Kind of People

  Robert Palmer’s Double Fun came out 45 years ago this week.
