Let’s face it. Not everyone loves getting older, but this year you can spend your birthday with some longtime friends that you grew up with.

Take some time out to revisit some of the best binge-worthy birthday moments from these great movies.

Much like your own, many of these birthdays didn’t turn out as expected:

  • The Birds (1963):

The gift of lovebirds from a pet shop makes for intense fowl play and an unforgettable children’s birthday party in this Hitchcock classic.

  • 13 Going On 30 (2004):

An unusual wish turns a 13-year-old girl into a 30-year-old woman overnight. I’m sure some of us would welcome it in real life if were the other way around lol.

  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001):

Imagine learning that you have magical powers on your 11th birthday and heading off to the mythical Hogwarts. The perfect movie to revisit on your birthday.

  • 16 Candles (1984):

The perfect teenage saga is set around the occasion of a girl’s 16th birthday. Take a fun-filled trip back to the pains of 80’s adolescence in this John Hughes gem.

  • Toy Story (1995):

You’re invited to young Andy’s birthday party in this Pixar animated film. Spend some time with Woody, Buzz, and the whole Toys Story gang. It’s bound to put a birthday smile on your face.
