8 Entertaining & Terrifying Haunted Attractions Across Central NJ

One of my favorite things about this time of the year is all the haunted attractions that spring up across the state. Some are definitely scarier than others, but I've never not had fun at one. And we're pretty lucky here in Central Jersey. We've got a lot of options here. So many, in fact, that a bunch of people I know from North Jersey will drive to our neck of the woods just for some scares. So if you're looking to spend some time getting spooked, I've compiled a list of 8 different places you can go to get your fix across the region. Find some haunts close to home and some a little further, but all within Central Jersey. I'd like to note, though, that most of the places on the list aren't suitable for children (except for number 7, that place is family-friendly by design). Most of the haunted attractions around do contain blood and gore. And having been a scare actor myself before, I can tell you that scare actors will not ignore your child just because they are a child. You know your children best, but unless they're obsessed with horror movies, I'd recommend leaving the little ones at home. So check out the list.
