Since the voice cast of The Super Mario Bros. Movie was announced, most fans of the iconic video game character though, “Chris Pratt as Mario? Huh…” After much build-up and speculation, the first teaser trailer for the film has just been released, and we hear Pratt as Mario for the first time…

…and Mario just sounds like Chris Pratt’s regular speaking voice!

Understandably, fans could help but react to this revelation and the trailer, as a whole, on Twitter. Truth be told, the trailer does look stunning. Also, Jack Black as the voice of Bowser really is a revelation.
