Recently, Uber Eats examined people’s delivery habits through its Annual Cravings Report. This report contains a wide range of unique order combinations, timely trends, food and alcohol pairings, and distinctive delivery requests, covering everything from necessities like toilet paper to condiments like ranch dressing.

According to the report, this year saw an interesting trend, with combinations like cottage cheese and mustard gaining popularity. For those looking for even more unconventional examples, pairings like steak and jelly or butter and pickled onions were also noted. The list also featured more conventional combinations like burrito bowls with cheese and wings served with ranch dressing. Interestingly, the report highlighted preferred food and alcohol pairings, including ribeye steak with vodka and the classic duo of a cheeseburger and a margarita.
The most frequently ordered item turned out to be French fries, and other top contenders included garlic naan, pad Thai, miso soup, and California rolls.
Delivery orders often come with specific instructions; this year was no exception. Common requests such as “no onions” and “dressing on the side” remained popular, alongside newer preferences like “no slaw” and “extra gravy.”

What truly stands out in this year’s Uber Eats Annual Cravings Report are the most unique and detailed requests made by customers from across the United States throughout the year. For instance, one customer made a bold request for “sauce on everything,” insisting that their food be completely drenched with sauce.
Another customer, with a rather strong preference, demanded that their meal be packed in a square container instead of a circular one. “I refuse to eat any food if presented in a circle container,” they said. Meanwhile, a whimsical request emerged, with someone stating, “My cats think your chicken is crack, so this is for them!”
There was even a somewhat “self-punishing” request that left no room for doubt. “I’m very serious about my spice, so please make it super super super hot, fire spicy. Like, make me cry hot!!! More [fire emoji] Please make me hurt! Let’s get as spicy as possible. Hotter, the better!!!”

Occasionally, we may forget something in the house, at an establishment, or maybe in your ride share. Uber released their seventh annual Uber Lost & Found Index. It shows which items riders leave behind the most often.
“As we head into another busy summer of travel, and hang on tight while Mercury makes its way back into Retrograde (which astrologists say influences forgetfulness), we’re back with the seventh annual Uber Lost & Found Index,” stated in a new release.
If you’re the type to lose stuff, you might want to be extra careful on weekends. In the U.S., some of the most forgetful days of the week are Saturday and Sunday. Keep your guard up in April: April 5 and April 9 are the most forgetful days of the year. Coming in at third is New Year’s Day. And the most common time of the day to report lost items is 11:00 p.m.
Certain lost items that peak on certain days. People are more likely to forget chargers on Mondays, passports on Saturdays, or groceries on Sundays.
Uber highlighted the most forgotten items, the most unique lost items, and the most forgetful cities. Their data also provides a snapshot of which times of day and days of the week riders forgot items the most.

They explained that the most forgotten items include clothing, phones, backpacks, wallets, headphones, jewelry, keys, books, laptops, and watches.
When it comes to their most forgetful cities, Jacksonville, Florida is at the top of the list. Followed by San Antonio, Texas, and Palm Springs, California. Out of their top ten most forgetful cities, Florida is the only state with two cities listed which include Jacksonville (#1) and Miami (#6).

Those featured among the most unique things left in Ubers include a Danny DeVito Christmas ornament, a fog machine, an ankle monitor, small stone-carved whales, Britney Spears fantasy perfume, two fingernails, two pet turtles, a bidet, and others.
