Watch: Hundreds Of Birds Crash Into NASCAR Hall Of Fame
Hundreds of birds were caught on tape flying into the NASCAR Hall of Fame building in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In the video, the woman taping can be heard saying that the birds had been doing this for over an hour. According to TMZ, there were over 300 birds found in front of the building, 97 of them were dead and nine were euthanized afterward. 102 were expected to survive the incident.
As for why the birds were flying into the building, a Carolina Waterfowl Rescue representative explains that “These birds don’t normally travel at night, so we believe that their roosting area where they sleep was disturbed.”
