These Men Are Wearing Mermaid Tails For A Good Cause
Men are transforming themselves into mermen. No, it’s not because they are obsessed with The Little Mermaid! These big, bearded men are donning tails in order to raise money for mental health.
“Merb’ys” who belong to the Newfoundland and Labrador Beard and Mustache Club, decided to find a unique way to raise money. The guys decided to shoot a full 12-month calendar of them dressed up as the mythological creatures, and the calendars have become an instant hit all over the world.

The group partners with Spirit House in order to create this fantastic sight. According to their website, “Spirit Horse NL aims to enhance the mental health and life skills of youth, adults, families, and groups through therapeutic interaction with horses.”
The 2018 calendar will be available for purchase on November 18th and costs $25.
Newfoundland and Labrador Beard and Mustache Club was founded in January 2017. The whole purpose of the group is to…well, you probably guessed it, promote facial hair. Those fond of their locks can join the group and raise money for awesome organizations.

If you are looking to purchase something a little different for a person in your life, the calendar may be the perfect gift! It not only supports a good cause, but it also will give you a laugh while flipping through the pages of the calendar.
We applaud these mermen for doing great things to support people who need the help.
