A blizzard warning has been issued for both Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The latest National Weather Service briefing as of 5 a.m. Friday morning (January 28) states that blizzard conditions are expected near the coast with a snowfall of 8 to 15 inches through Saturday night (January 29).

Travel is highly discouraged while gale to storm force wind guests on the coastal waters of New Jersey are expected to occur.
