9 Festive Cocktails for Your Thanksgiving Gatherings

When it comes to Thanksgiving, most people immediately think about food. I know I do. Some people are really big on the main dishes, the turkey or the ham or the lasagna. Others, me included, are all about the sides. Mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, mac and cheese, cranberry sauce, I’m hungry just thinking about it! But one thing that I think is often underrated on Thanksgiving... the cocktails.  

Usually, when someone offers to do the drinks, it tends to be just wine and beer (at least that’s been my experience). And sure, those are a great way to contribute at Thanksgiving if you don’t have a ton of time to spend in the kitchen. But if you’re on *drink duty* and want to be a little extra, I think making fun and festive cocktails is the way to go. I’ve done the leg work for you & gathered a bunch of videos below, so you can get ideas and inspiration for your next gathering. Any of these drinks would be great at Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving. And don't worry, there’s some variation for people with different time constraints. Some of these are big batch cocktails, so you can feel free to make them in a pitcher ahead of time and the guests can serve themselves. And some of these cocktails are a little more involved, for those out there who enjoy playing bartender.
