Tuckerton Seaport Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social

Salute the start of National Ice Cream Month on the 4th of July.

Have some fun with 100.1 WJRZ and Bob O’Brien at the Tuckerton Seaport Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social on Saturday, July 4th starting at 3pm.

This new event will feature sweet samples from five of the Jersey Shore’s best local ice cream shops, live music, family activities and programs. Watch how ice cream was first made and learn some new and interesting facts. Why would Victorians make asparagus-flavored ice cream? You might even get to try your hand at milking a cow. How is that for a farm-to-table experience?

Tasting kits are $8. There will be a popsicle stick building contest at 5pm. End the day with fireworks over the lake at dusk.
