Take Control of Diabetes

Diabetes, an abnormally high blood sugar level, affects people of all ages and can lead to more serious health issues. Learn ways to manage the condition during our “Diabetes Education” program at the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch, 2 PM Tuesday, May 21.

In this one-hour program for adults and seniors, Registered Dietitian Nutritionists Meg McCarthy-Klein and Matthew Holland of the Ocean County Health Department will present valuable information about the causes, symptoms, and long-term effects, and offer tips for effective diabetes management.
