Little Egg Harbor Fall Cleanup

Little Egg Harbor’s Environmental Commission is calling all volunteers to participate in its fall community-wide cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Both individuals and groups of volunteers are welcome (groups can register as one team) and will earn volunteer/community service hours for their effort. Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at the Little Egg Harbor municipal building (823 Radio Rd.), where event instructions will be given. Safety equipment and necessary supplies will be distributed before volunteers depart for their designated streets.

Complimentary lunch will be served immediately following the cleanup at the Edward Thornton Community Center (319 West Calabreeze Way). T-shirts will also be available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the event.

Participants younger than 18 must have an adult chaperone. One adult chaperone per 10 children is recommended, if working in teams.
