Barnegat Town-wide Yard Sale

Barnegat’s Town-wide Yard Sale is around the corner -every corner – on Saturday, April 25th starting at 9am. The event sponsored each year by the Barnegat Chamber of Commerce raises funds through registration fees that enable the chamber to donate to community organizations. Talk about one-stop shopping, the Town-wide Yard Sale offers hundreds of houses-worth of bargains in easy range, and marked on a map. While the whole town turns their homes inside-out to display yard sale wares, shoppers come from other towns to see what treasures they can find. Barnegat’s maritime history and bayside locale adds to the appeal of this event that New York’s Village Voice has hailed as a top attraction.

What’s new this year is more locations where free maps can be picked up by yard sale shoppers. Maps will only be distributed after 7:30am the day of the yard sale at the following locations: Tobacco Road. 690 East Bay Ave.; Van Dyk Group, 500 Barnegat Blvd.; Barnegat Curves, 849 West Bay Ave.; Unshredded Nostalgia, 323 South Main St.; TD Bank, 560 North Main St.; Fulton Bank, 870 West. Bay Ave.
