This week’s guest is Susan Marcos, Chairperson for the Steering Committee for Long Branch HEARS. HEARS is a nonprofit organization which stands for Health, Education, Addiction Recovery and Support. This organization began as a group of concerned citizens and the help of the Mayor of Long Branch and Council to help combat the growing concerns surrounding addiction within the community. Meeting at least once a month (virtually since pandemic) HEARS has aggressively begun to build bridges between service providers and available resources to address these addiction issues.
