It’s Around Ocean County and this week’s guest is Simone Tellini of POAC Autism Services, a non profit organization dedicated to educating the public on the many ways we can better serve the Autism community. Simone discusses how POAC grew from a small grass roots group of parents meeting to address the difficulties and setbacks in raising an autistic child. Twenty years later, it has grown into a statewide organization which holds works hops and training programs for both parents and teachers, law enforcement, EMS and firefighters, families and the general public.
