It’s Around Ocean County with Lisa Anderson and today’s guest is Rene Stone, founder of the non profit organization Serenity Stables, from Combat to Calm. This wonderful organization assists military Veterans and their families with both PTSD and traumatic brain injury. Using the EGALA method, the horses and a licensed social worker provide therapy for Veterans suffering from depression, children with physical handicaps, and other injuries such as paralysis.
