This week, Lisa’s speaking to Michael Dominick, director of communications for the non-profit organization Make A Wish NJ Chapter. Make A Wish began in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona. New Jersey saw its own chapter in 1983 and there are now over 60 chapter across the nation. At Make A Wish, their mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. Over 560 wishes were granted in 2018. Make A Wish also granted a historic 10,000th wish in May of 2018, celebrating their 35th anniversary!
