Today’s guest is Maribeth Abrams, director of Go Getters organization. Go Getters is an all volunteer organization started by Mark Kwanis in order to help the seniors and those who are immune compromised during the Coronavirus pandemic.   Realizing the need for seniors, Mark and Maribeth began reaching out to different social service agencies throughout Ocean County. These agencies provided Go Getters with phone numbers for those in need, often with no way to get food, medicine and other necessities. Volunteers make the phone calls and take down the information needed for groceries and medicine.  The drivers are mostly college students who are dedicated to providing help. Groceries are delivered to those in need and sanitized. Moving forward, Go Getters is applying to be a 501C3 non profit organization. For more, please visit gogettersnj.com.
