This week, we have Kristina Faretra, a Middletown mom of two. Kristina and her husband have a son Tyler, turning three in January, who has been struggling with Gastroparesis. Many people living with Gastroparesis have to rely on a feeding tube, as does Kristina’s son Tyler. Many lose their jobs, homes, and the ability to live a normal life. There was a recent March to the Whitehouse in Washington DC in which thousands of people from all over the world came out to ask members of Congress to sign a bill which would allow funding for research. many members of Congress signed the bill, and Kristina said much more is needed to be done in order to move forward in finding new medicines along with a cure.
