This week, we have Judge Lawrence Jones, retired Superior Court Judge and now professor at Monmouth University. He’s also speaking about the factual rise in domestic violence during the pandemic, despite there being information showing a decrease. In actuality, fewer cases are being reported, as with child abuse cases. The reason being there are fewer instances of teachers, doctors, neighbors and friends that are unaware of situations involving abuse to due the quarantine. And, as colleges look ahead to opening in the fall, Judge Lawrence also spoke about the possibility of online learning, smaller classes, and social distancing among college students. He hopes to see a solution to students being able to have the college experience.
