This week, our guest is Jared Maples. Jared is the Director of the New Jersey office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. Jared discusses the need for informing the public on the misinformation surrounding COVID-19. He is dispelling some of the myths vs. facts, with regards to social media and other news outlets not providing the correct information. Misinformation regarding self diagnoses and contact with others who may have been exposed to coronavirus. The New Jersey office of Homeland Security and Preparedness also deals with the CDC, the Governor, and the OEM in the effort to combat the spread of COVID-19.
