This week, Erin Sharkey joins us to discuss Compassionate Café. Compassionate Café is a nonprofit cafe/organization located in Beach Haven, providing jobs to adolescents and adults with special needs. They are using a restaurant donated to them for the morning hours, Barry’s Do Me a Flavor, to serve the community. They partner with local businesses to set up their coffee shop setting where employees with special needs serve coffee, bagels, pastries and house baked dog treats. The Café will be serving Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. till 11 a.m.
