This week, our guest is Assemblyman Gerry Sharfenberger. Previous to being elected as an Assemblyman, Sharfenberger served as Mayor of Middletown for five years as well as a Chosen freeholder. Assemblyman Sharfenberger is also a professor of Archaeology at Monmouth University. Sharfenberger is currently a sponsor or co-sponsor of a number of bills in the Senate concerning relief for businesses during the Covid epidemic, eliminating voter fraud within NJ by requiring voter ID, personal data concerning Covid testing, active in helping and enacting laws concerning our Veterans, and serves on the board to combat opioid abuse within the community. Assemblyman Sharfenberger recently opened a new office in Middletown, which is available for the public to visit.
