Contest Rules

WJRZ-FM SKI & STAY GIVEAWAY CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES These rules apply to \SKI & STAY GIVEAWAY Contest (“Contest”) conducted by Beasley Media Group, LLC d/b/a WJRZ-FM (“Station”). In addition, the General Contest Rules posted at https://wjrz.com/ apply to this Contest. If there is a conflict between the General Contest Rules and the Rules for this Contest, the Rules for this Contest shall control.

1. HOW TO ENTER 

a. The Contest will begin on February 3, 2025, and end on February 14, 2025

b. To enter on-air, listen to the Station each weekday beginning on February 3, 2025 and ending on February 14th, 2025 between the hours of 2PM Eastern Time (“ET”) and 6 PM for the announcement of the cue to call. Upon hearing the cue to call, the 10th caller (as announced on-air at the time of the cue to call) to the Station contest line at 732-505-1001 will win a Qualifying Prize and be qualified for a chance to win the Grand Prize (each deemed a “Qualifier”), upon confirmation of eligibility. The station is not responsible for any failure of a caller to reach the Station contest line including but not limited to busy phone lines, misdirected calls, equipment breakdowns, or disconnections. Calls will only be accepted at the designated phone number. At the time of the entrant’s call,the entrant will be required to provide all information requested including the entrant’s full name, complete address (including zip code), phone number, email address, and date of birth in order to be eligible to win. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. In the event that the selected caller is disconnected or is found to be ineligible, the next eligible caller who successfully makes it through on the call-in line and completes the call will be a Qualifier. There is no limit to the number of times a listener may attempt to call in to win, but a listener may be a Qualifier only once.

Up to (10) Qualifiers will be selected on-air as described above.

To enter online, visit wjrz.com and follow the links and instructions to enter the Contest and complete and submit the online entry form beginning on February 3, 2025 at 6AM ET and ending on February 14, 2025 at 2:00PM ET (“Online Entry Period”). Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Station's Privacy Policy. Limit one (1) entry per eligible person during the Online Entry Period regardless if entrant has more than one email address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entries submitted may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest administrator.

Up to one (1) additional Qualifier will be selected at approximately  2:00PM ET on February 14, 2025 in a Station-conducted random drawing from all eligible online entries received during the Online Entry Period. Potential online Qualifier will be notified by phone and/or email promptly following the random drawing.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. This Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry into the Contest, who are legal US residents and reside in New Jersey, except where prohibited by law. Winners must possess a valid, government-issued ID and show proof of residency to verify eligibility.

3. PRIZES

 Up to eleven (11) Qualifying Prizes will be awarded. Each Qualifying Prize consists of $20 worth of New Jersey Lottery Scratch-Off tickets. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Qualifying Prize is $20.

b. Up to one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. Grand Prize consists of a gift certificate for a 2 Night/2 Day Mini Vacation for Two (2) to Smugglers Notch, Vermont. Certificate includes: 2 nights lodging in a studio; 2 days of 3-mountain lift tickets and cross-country trail pass; indoor pool & hot tub; evening adult entertainment; FunZone 2.0 ozone; and village activities. Certificate is valid now through... (expiration date TBD), select blackout dates apply. ARV of the Grand Prize is $800.

c. The gift card will be subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the issuer of the gift card. Gift cards are not refundable or transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash or credit at any time, nor will gift cards be replaced if lost or stolen.

d. Prizes or prize certificates must be claimed at the office of the Station located at 1731 Main St.; Lake Como, NJ 07719 or 1001 Beach Ave, Manahawkin, NJ 08050, by appointment Monday-Friday, during regular business hours. Prize or prize certificate must be claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. Failure to claim Prize by the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to claim the Prize or prize certificate within the timeline provided in these Official Rules.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS

a. Up to eleven (11) total Qualifiers will be selected as described above.

Up to one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected at approximately 3:00PM ET on February 14, 2025 in a Station-conducted random drawing from all combined on-air and online Qualifiers. Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone and/or email promptly following the random drawing.

c. Odds of winning a Qualifying Prize on-air depend upon the number and order of calls received. Odds of winning a Qualifying Prize online depend on the number of eligible online entries received during the Online Entry Period. Odds of a Qualifier winning the Grand Prize are up to 1 in 11.

d. Entrants must listen to the Station to win a Qualifying Prize on-air but do not need to be present to enter or win. Entrants need not listen to the Station or be present to win a Qualifying Prize online. Qualifiers do not need to listen to the Station or be present to win the Grand Prize.

e. Grand Prize winner must confirm acceptance of prize within fourteen (14) days of winning, or risk disqualification and selection of an alternate Grand Prize winner (time permitting) in a random drawing of all remaining Qualifiers.
