The Lacey Branch of the Ocean County Library will close Feb. 14 through Feb. 23 for carpet and tiling work. No public access.
Got items on hold at Lacey? They're being moved to the Waretown Branch. You can pick them up there starting Feb. 14.
According to Patch.com, the Waretown Branch opens at 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday, giving readers a place to go while Lacey stays closed. Other Ocean County Library sites are available too.
The book drop at the Lacey location will stay open. You can still return materials there.
If you borrowed Chromebooks, hotspots, or Launchpads from Lacey, the system will extend your due dates to account for the shutdown.
Want to keep reading? The library system has eBooks, audiobooks, research databases, and virtual programs available around the clock through theoceancountylibrary.org.
All online services work fine during construction.
